作者介紹
彼得・卡麥隆(Peter Cameron)是備受讚譽的美國小說家與短篇小說作家。出生於紐澤西州的龐普頓平原（Pompton Plains），1982年自大學畢業後搬到紐約市。隔年即開始在《紐約客》（The New Yorker）發表短篇小說，並以其高品質的創作屢獲肯定。1986年出版首部短篇小說集《One Way or Another》，獲得海明威基金會／PEN 首部小說獎特別推薦。
此後，他專注於長篇小說創作，代表作包括《閏年》（Leap Year, 1990）與《你終將抵達的城市》（The City of Your Final Destination, 2002），後者入圍 PEN／福克納文學獎決選。他的作品筆調細膩、風格優雅，擅長描寫心理動態與人際複雜性。現居於紐約曼哈頓格林威治村。
